MSE Hardscapes just completed a job replacing a sizable (failing) retaining wall with an engineered block wall for our HOA in Kansas City North. We're extremely pleased with the finished wall they built--it exceeds all our expectations for the work. The new wall has much more of an appealing appearance then we could have imagined. Duane kept us well informed throughout the project. Dwayne, the manager, had excellent communication throughout the project. He was very professional and seems to take pride in the work MSE completes. MSE buried new storm drains from two downspouts near the driveway without it even being a part of the contract and they are working very well. They also insisted (more or less) that a concrete base be laid to prevent future settling and sagging of the pavers. I was impressed with this as well. It has been 2 months and everything looks like new in that regard. There was an error made in the slope of the driveway by the installers but that was corrected as soon as it was noticed. I believe the cost was reasonable for the work that was completed. I highly recommend MSE. I am very happy with the driveway. Good people, superior work ethic and customer service. Every experience I’ve had with MSE employees has been very pleasant. Suprisingly pleasant. My profession allows me to interact with them from a different perspective, as opposed to the normal customer/business standpoint. MSE is my GOLD standard for all interactions I’ve experienced to date. I see the quality of material they use for their products, the effort in production, and the professionalism and courtesy when interacting with others. To me personally, that equates to a superior product being offered by good people who take pride in there product. They deserve ALL business they receive.
